The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Bolaang Mongondow Regency held a Baseline Survey Officer Training for the Free Nutritious Food Program (MBG) Phase II on October 23โ24, 2025. This activity was a crucial part of the preparation for the national survey, which aims to collect baseline data related to the implementation of the Free Nutritious Food Program (MBG) โ a national priority program focused on improving the nutritional quality of Indonesian children.
This training was attended by field officers who will be tasked with collecting data directly from various households in selected sample census blocks. Through this activity, participants were equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the survey's objectives, data collection methodology, interview techniques, and procedures for completing the survey instruments, ensuring that the entire field process is carried out uniformly, accurately, and in accordance with BPS national standards.
The main objective of this training was to ensure that all officers have the same skills and understanding in carrying out their duties, so that the data produced is reliable, high-quality, and reflects the actual conditions in the community. This data will serve as a crucial basis for the government in formulating policies for the MBG Program, particularly regarding distribution, acceptance, and its impact on the nutritional status and well-being of school children in Indonesia.
